vPad-O2 is Datrend's next-generation SpO2 tester, built on the vPad platform and designed to be user-programmable so new sensor curves can be added in the field without returning the unit to a service centre. As part of the vPad-A1 family, vPad-O2 can be upgraded to include a full Multi-Parameter Patient Simulator (vPad-PS) and a NIBP Simulator (vPad-BP) as testing needs grow.

The device is compatible with all major pulse oximeter manufacturers, with field-editable R-curves simplifying setup for new oximeter models. Five automated test sequences support alarm response time testing, while four preset signal artefact simulations help verify device performance under realistic conditions.

Controlled via Bluetooth or USB with straightforward navigation, vPad-O2 supports auto sequences and full test report creation and management, making it a practical starting point for teams building out SpO2 testing capability.
