Planned preventative maintenance

Planned preventative maintenance

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is a proactive service designed to keep medical equipment safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational. Most medical devices can be included within a PPM programme, with maintenance schedules tailored to equipment type, utilisation, manufacturer recommendations, and clinical risk.

As an independent provider, we offer impartial advice and tailored maintenance programmes designed to maximise equipment uptime, support compliance, and deliver value for money. Our engineers work closely with customers to recommend schedules that balance risk, performance, and cost. PPM contracts can be tailored to your specific requirements and may include routine servicing, repair cover, call-outs, and travel costs.

All service records are securely maintained within our cloud-based asset management system, providing access to maintenance histories, compliance documentation, and detailed service reports for a complete and auditable equipment record.

Reactive repairs

Reactive repairs

When equipment fails unexpectedly, a fast and effective response is essential. We provide reactive repair services across a broad range of medical equipment, with fault investigation, diagnosis, and repair carried out by our experienced biomedical engineers to restore equipment to service as quickly as possible.

Response times and support arrangements are tailored to your operational requirements, with support available during and outside normal working hours where required. Our flexible engineering model enables us to respond rapidly to urgent repair requirements, including for organisations that do not currently hold a maintenance contract with us.

We take a transparent approach to repair and replacement decisions. Where equipment is no longer economically viable to repair, we will provide clear advice, a written recommendation, and support in planning the most appropriate next steps. We will never recommend unnecessary work or charge for repairs that are not in your best interests.

1

Get in touch

Tell us about your equipment estate, operational requirements, and the support you need.

2

Assessment & planning

For reactive repairs, we carry out a fault investigation and provide a clear diagnosis. For PPM, we develop a maintenance schedule aligned to your equipment, risk profile, and service requirements.

3

Service delivery

Maintenance and repair activities are carried out by experienced biomedical engineers in accordance with manufacturer guidance and our ISO 13485 quality management framework.

4

Documentation & reporting

You receive comprehensive service records and detailed reports to support compliance, governance, and audit requirements.

Documentation you can rely on

Documentation you can rely on

Every maintenance visit and repair generates a comprehensive service record, including calibration certificates, verification and validation documentation, asset histories, and any recommendations arising from the work completed. All documentation is maintained in accordance with MHRA guidance and supports regulatory compliance, governance, and internal audit requirements.

Customers have secure access to service records and equipment information through our online client portal, providing a clear, auditable history of their medical equipment estate whenever it is needed.
