vPad-BP is Datrend's NIBP (non-invasive blood pressure) simulator, designed to test the accuracy and repeatability of the NIBP function on patient monitors. As part of the vPad-A1 family, it can be upgraded to include a full Multi-Parameter Patient Simulator (vPad-PS) and an SpO2 Simulator (vPad-O2) as testing requirements expand.

The simulator is compatible with all major patient monitor manufacturers, with field-editable envelopes making it straightforward to set up for new monitors as they're introduced. Unlimited preset adult and neonatal NIBP simulations are built in, alongside manometer mode, overpressure testing, and leakage testing to verify a monitor's full NIBP safety and performance range.

Controlled via Bluetooth or USB, vPad-BP supports auto-sequences and full test report creation and management, giving engineering teams a reliable, field-upgradeable NIBP testing tool.
